For example, a "Good Night" scene turns off the lights and TVs, lowers the shades, sets back the temperature, arms the alarm and locks the doors.
The system can be wired, wireless or a combination of both, which makes it suitable for new builds, houses, villas and luxury apartments, as well as renovations. Crestron Home works with products from leading brands such as Sonos, Lutron, Philips Hue, Somfy, Yale and 2N, as well as DALI lighting, TVs, projectors and receivers. Your home is never locked into a single manufacturer. Crestron Home OS updates add new features over time, without the need to replace the system.

Lighting is the foundation of every smart home, and Crestron turns it into a tool for comfort and well-being. You control lights individually, by room or across the whole house from Horizon and Cameo keypads, touch screens, a remote or your phone.
With compatible LED fixtures and DALI technology (including DALI DT8 for tunable white light), lighting can follow your circadian rhythm: cooler and more energizing in the morning, warmer and more relaxing in the evening. The Crestron SolarSync photosensor detects natural daylight and automatically adjusts the brightness in the room.

Security and Access Control
Crestron brings all your security systems together on one platform, with real-time status on your mobile device. You can see whether the doors are locked, whether the alarm is armed, the position of the garage door and gate, and view live camera feeds.

Heating and Cooling
The right temperature is key to comfort and quality sleep. Crestron Horizon smart thermostats control multi-zone heating and cooling systems and maintain the ideal climate in every room. The thermostats communicate over Wi-Fi and never need battery changes, making them suitable for both new builds and existing homes.
With remote temperature and humidity sensors, the thermostat itself can be hidden away, with control from your phone, touch screens, keypads or remote. Crestron Home works with most popular HVAC systems.

Shades and Blinds
Crestron motorized shades and blinds use Quiet Motor Technology (QMT) for virtually silent operation. The range includes roller shades, Roman shades, skylight shades and drapery systems, with a wide choice of designer fabrics. Crestron battery-powered shades are a convenient option for renovations, as they don't require power wiring to the window.
Shades work together with lighting and climate control. In the morning they can open slowly to wake you with natural light. During the day they automatically reduce glare and keep rooms from overheating.

Audio and Video
With Crestron, music and entertainment become part of the whole home. Listen to your favorite streaming service or playlist in any room, and create separate audio zones indoors and outdoors for parties. The DM NAX streaming amplifier handles up to eight zones, and Crestron speakers are engineered for great sound in every room. If you have Sonos, you control it directly from Crestron Home.
The video system distributes content to every TV in the house, and with DM NVX technology and the Multiview feature you can watch several sources at once on a single screen.

Control and Scenes
The core idea behind Crestron is that every device in your home works as one. Instead of controlling lighting, climate, shades and music separately, you combine them into scenes such as "Good Morning", "Movie Night" or "Good Night". Each scene is activated with a single tap, a voice command or automatically.
The choice of control is yours: wall-mounted and tabletop touch screens from 5 to 10 inches, Horizon and Cameo keypads, remotes such as the Crestron Cevo Mini, the Crestron Home app or a voice assistant. The interface is the same and intuitive everywhere.
